Nick Symmonds in Beijing competing on the grandest stage

Nick Symmonds nearly quit running four years ago, and the Boise native's Olympic dreams were close to becoming just that - a dream.

But thanks to an assistant track and field coach at Willamette University in Salem, Ore., who recognized Symmonds' enormous potential on the oval, the 2002 Bishop Kelly High graduate is now living the Olympic dream.
