Originally from
San Luis Obispo, California, Freberg is a
two-time NCAA All-American and two-time SEC Champion in the shot put. During the 2003 season, Feberg set bests of
61-2.25 in the weight throw, 55-9.75 in the shot put and 172-11 in the hammer throw.
