Jeremy Scott of Allegheny » Allegheny senior Jeremy Scott upped his own D3 pole vault record by going well over 18 feet again this season. With a clearance of 19 feet in his sights, the sky seems to be the limit for one of the best vaulters in the country. (2/13/03)

Tiffany McWilliams of Mississippi State » McWilliams has stepped onto the national scene in a big way by proving to be one of the best milers in the nation so far. As a valueable member of the indoor DMR as well, McWilliams hopes to rack up lots of points from the NCAA Championships. (2/11/03)
Adam Shunk of North Carolina » Shunk placed second indoors and fifth outdoors in the high jump at the NCAA Championships last year. Already on par with some of the best high jumpers in the country right now, Shunk hopes to bring home his first individual NCAA title. (2/11/03)
Lolo Jones of LSU » Jones was the first true freshman at LSU to ever earn All-American honors indoors in the 60 meter hurdles in 2001. Jones repeated in true form last year by taking fourth overall in the same event and then second in the 100 meter hurdles outdoors. (2/7/03)
Sanya Richards of Texas » Richards was arguably the most dominant female high school athlete in 2002. The national high school record holder in the 400 meters already has proven to be a force so far this season at Texas. Richards looks to continue that success throughout her career. (2/5/03)
Muna Lee of LSU » Lee is the defending indoor champion in the 200 meters. An excellent short sprinter as well, Lee has already opened her 2003 season with blistering fast times in the 60 meters. As a key point scorer for the lady Tigers, Lee hopes to also lead them to a national title. (2/3/03)
Rebekah Green of Kansas State » Green opened her 2003 indoor campaign with an NCAA automatic mark in the shot put. As one of the favorites for the title this season, Green looks to improve upon her other events as well to score big points for the Wildcats at the national meet. (2/2/03)
Brian Chaput of Pennsylvania » As the reigning IC4A and Heptagonal Champion in the javelin, Brian is hoping to carry his winning ways into the 2003 NCAA meet. The experiences he gained from last year’s NCAA and USATF Championships will make him an even better competitor. (1/31/03)
Jorge and Ed Torres of Colorado » Twin phenoms Jorge and Ed Torred of Colorado helped bring the program to a new level as Jorge won the 2002 NCAA cross country championships while his brother finished tenth. Both look to help each other again during the indoor and outdoor seasons. (1/31/03)
Shaun Guice of Purdue » Guice is a five-time All-American and three-time Big Ten Champion in the high jump. Entering 2003 with a school record leap of 7-5, Guice figures to be one of the favorites this season for the individual title. (1/22/03)
Sam Burley of Pennsylvania » Burley exploded on to the scene last year by taking second in the 800 meters at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Looking to improve his time even more this season, Burley figures to be one of the best in the 800 meters in the country. (1/22/03)
Trevor Woods of Oregon » Woods returns as one of the top pole vaulters in the nation for Oregon. After posting a breakthrough sophomore season in 2002, Woods hopes to bring home some major hardware for the Ducks in 2003. (1/21/03)
Christopher Pinnock of Texas A & M » Pinnock was the runner-up in the 60 meter hurdles last season for the Aggies and is a former Junior College national runner-up as well during his tenure at Barton County CC. Pinnock hopes to clear the one hurdle he has always wanted -- a national title. (1/19/03)
Glenn McFadden of Mississippi State » McFadden was the top freshman 200 meter sprinter last season in the SEC by placing 7th in the conference outdoor final. As a holder of the second-fastest indoor 200 meter time in high school indoor history, McFadden looks to turn even more heads this season. (1/15/03)
Adrian Blincoe of Villanova » Blincoe won the 3000 meters at the 2002 NCAA Indoor Championships and placed fifth in the 1500 meters at the 2002 NCAA Outdoor Championships. Also a part of the NCAA Indoor Champion DMR, Blincoe looks for more hardware this season. (1/12/03)
Adriane Blewitt of Ashland » Blewitt qualified for the shot put, discus and hammer throws last season at the NCAA Division II Championships for Ashland. The national record holder in the shot put for Division II, Blewitt has even higher expectations this season. (1/3/03)
Carl Myerscough of Nebraska » Myerscough had the top mark in the discus last season heading into the 2002 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. After placing second in the discus and eigth in the shot put as well at the national meet, Myerscough will be one to watch again. (12/15/02)
Thomas Freeman of Manhattan » Freeman enters his senior year at Manhattan as a six-time All-American in the weight and hammer throws. After opening his indoor season with an automatic qualifying mark in the weight already, Freeman has hopes for even bigger marks this season and beyond. (12/11/02)
