Perhaps they're a little / no Very DARK!!! They need a lot more Hi-Color contrast (perhaps a better use of: White / Silver) on Both the Top & BOTTOM of that Uniform that they'll be wearing for the next 4-years!!!

All that matters is the USA that is plain as day on the chest. It's not the first time they have been this color and will not be the last one of the sort. It's good that they are changing it up. CHANGE IS GOOD.....

Interesting

OH WOW, it's like Nike and USATF just took one giant step backwards. They spent two years working on the brand new logo (star and wings) and design concept, then reach back to the 1970's with this uniform. Personally, I'd rather stick with my white and blue set from 04

Being a single guy, fashion is not my forte but I know ugly when I see it and I've seen ugly this day.

With all due respect, uniforms for the US team should jump off the track at the viewer shouting out "Hey, we're the US!" When we're looking at a crowd of athletes running around the track, whether we're in the stands or watching on TV, we should only have to glance at the crowd and know automatically which of these athletes are representing the US.

One of the major problems with uniforms this dark is that athletes that are wearing them tend to blend into the darkness of the background. Furthermore, the USA on the front is equally as dark as the uniform material so we're missing the contrast we need to separate our people from the rest of the crowd. Had the USA been in white, this would have accomplished that task.

Writing as a professional track & field photographer, I can say that the darkness of these uniforms paired with the lack of contrast--especially on athletes whose skin may be dark, will not look good in the photographs.

Lastly, what's with those fat guy shorts and t-shirt combos? They look like the kind of clothes you might wear around the house when you don't care what anyone else thinks.

I thought the U.S. colors were red, white, and blue. I like the uniforms form 04 better.
