I agree with the above comment....Let the young man enjoy his moment.....i dont know if Ato dont remember when he was at this stage he acted somewhat the same so why make that statement when you did it yourself...I'm proud of the Caribbean's performances especially that of jamacians i think they deserve it.......Congrats again to Bolt and the entire Jamacian team your hard work have finally paid off.......MUCH RESPECT TO THE CARIBBEAN!!!!

U.S.A is a joke at the Olympics!!!! We made our statement to the rest of the world that we can’t win anything without DRUGS, it’s a shame.

huh?

seriously? usa has done nothing? we have more medals in track and field than any other country!?
yeah there were some disappointing moments and we could have done better...but huh? more total medals, and very close in the gold...check it out. idiot.

Do you know anything about track!? Or are you just one of the the ones that f*@3ed up at the olympics or one of the athletes that have to use drugs! It's not about 3rd and 2nd place, its about the gold. Nobody cares who got second. Off top could you tell me who got second in the 200m in the 1996 olympics? Probably not, U.S.A choked and that's that! besides a couple wins, usa sucked a big one. Lets name the events we won, cause thats really what matters, mmmm....let me see, the decat, men's 400m, men's 400mh, 4x400s and the woman's 100mh (which was a surprising joke of a time, lolo should have won, but then again if susanna wasn't hurt she would have smashed everyone) and ummmm....discus. That's a shame we choked...no sprints, no mid distance, no field events. haha are you serious dude!!! USA choked! There is a reason why they didn't show track live! Its called DRUGS and that every america sprinter in the past used them. We should take this as a wake up call. I hate that everybody thinks we won the metal count when we have the fewest golds. We got second and that's not were USA belongs.

I second the paragraph above! My 75 year old grandma who knows nothing about track other than what meets the eye called me to say "I am completely embarrassed for the USA track team." I couldn't agree more. What the h*ll happened over there? We clearly showed our deficiency! This just leads the rest of the nation to solidify their belief (and maybe the true assertation) that the United States just can't do it legally!
