All of the site contributors and the webmaster work on the side in providing the best collegiate track & field coverage available. This is not our full-time job and everything is done on our own time. We all have
other priorities such as school, full-time jobs and family. There may be times when Trackshark is not updated due to our other priorities.
Below is a list of just some of the numerous costs involved and
other hours taken out of the day in order to provide Trackshark.com
to you, the viewing public, for free:
- Original design, construction and
page layout
- Programming and other web-related production
- Daily page updates
- On-site meet coverage and some overnight
stays
- Travel expenses such as flights, hotels, rental cars and gas
- Photography and formatting the photos
to post on the web
- Weekend reviews and meet highlights from all the results
- Interviews and Podcasts
- Information Center and keeping up with
the records and stats
- Posting of all collegiate results on
a timely matter
- Forum moderation and maintenance
- Miscellaneous news releases
It is impossible to cover every single
event, athlete and division across the ranks. However, we
intend to try our best with the given number of free time and resources
available in producing outstanding collegiate track & field coverage.
From our photographers to our on-site meet coverage,
none of this would be available without you, the fans, as well.
We appreciate your visit and fanfare to the sport and hope you realize
the number of costs that are involved in producing Trackshark.com.
All donations help serve Trackshark coverage services, such as website hosting, travel and other fees. We thank everyone so far for making a donation. Your help is greatly appreciated to the college track & field community.
