• Georgetown placed second in 9:32.65a.
• Wisconsin placed third in 9:33.02a.
• Texas A&M placed fourth in 9:33.12a.
• Texas placed fifth in 9:34.46a.
• Colorado State placed sixth in 9:34.98a.
• Mississippi won the men's 4x400 meter relay with their time of 3:06.83a.
• Rod Koborsi of Georgetown posted a time of 13:52.07a in the 5,000 meter run.

• Beata Rudzinska of Akron clocked 2:03.79a in the 800 meters to take the national lead.

ECAC Championships - Reggie Lewis Center [results]

• The Pittsburgh women claimed the team title while scoring 62 points.

IC4A Championships - Boston University [results]

• Manhattan College won the men's team title
• Obra Hogans of Seton Hall won the 400 meters with his time of 45.83a.
• Paulvince Obuon of VMI won the 200 meters in 20.88p and 20.85a in the prelims.

NJCAA Championships - Kansas State [results]

• Steven Mullings of Barton CC won the 60 meters in 6.59 and the 200 meters in 21.04.
• Dexter Faulk of Barton CC won the 60 meter hurdles in 7.69.

UCLA quad - UCLA [results]

• UCLA's Chelsea Johnson set a NCAA outdoor pole vault record at 14-9.

Southern Miss Invitational (outdoor) - Southern Miss [results]

• Cedric Norman of Southern Miss cleared 7-6 to win the high jump at the outdoor meet.
