Terrier Classic - Boston University [results]

• Kim Smith of Providence ran the second-fastest 5,000 meters in collegiate history at 15:18.54a.
• Mary Cullen of Providence was the first collegian in the 3,000 meters at 9:14.58a.
• Marina Muncan of Villanova finished right behind Cullen while clocking 9:18.02p.

Edmonds Cup - Purdue [results]

• Nedza Mulabegovic of Purdue claimed the shot put with his toss of 64-01.75a.
• Scott Hecht and Keith McBride of Purdue threw 68-03.75p and 67-07p in the weight throw.

Notre Dame Quad - Notre Dame [results]

• Molly Huddle of Notre Dame won the 3,000 meters in 9:14.13a.

Tiger Invitational - Missouri [results]

• Becky Breisch of Nebraska wins the shot put with her mark of 55-01.50a.
• Janae Strickland of Missouri places second behind Breisch in 52-08p.
• Jenny Green of Nebraska claimed the pole vault with her clearance of 13-07.25p.

Bayou Bengal - LSU [results]

• Muna Lee of LSU won the 60 meters in 7.29a which is the second-fastest in the country.
• John Moffitt of LSU had a huge leap of 26-11a in the long jump which set a school record.

Washginton Invitational - Washington [results]

• Micheala Manova of BYU was the first collegian in the 3000 meters at 9:04.06a.
• Sara Bei (9:13.32a) and Alicia Craig (9:14.72a) of Stanford placed behind Manova.
• The BYU women was victorious in the DMR with their time of 11:06.91a.
• Washington won the men's DMR with their school-record time of 9:38.09p.
• Stanford (11:17.94p), UCLA (11:21.15p) and Washington (11:23.12p) finished 2-3-4.
• Cal-Poly high jumpers Kaylene Wagner and Sharon Day cleared 6-00.75a.
• Chelsea Johnson of UCLA won the pole vault while clearing 14-00a.
• Kate Soma of Washington claimed second with her 13-01.50p clearance.
• Michelle Sanford of USC came out on top in the triple jump marking 43-02.25p.
• Jillian Camarena of Stanford threw 55-04.25a in the shot put.
• Cari Soong of UCLA tossed the weight throw 67-08.25a.
• Grant Robison of Stanford clocked 7:51.80a in the 3,000 meter run.
• Donald Sage of Stanford also clocked 7:54.75a in the same race.
• Bryan Lindsay of BYU came through the line in 7:58.22p.
• Christopher Emme of Stanford won the 5,000 meters in 14:03.13p.
• Dan Ames of UCLA won both the shot put (60-07.75p) and weight throw (66-09.25p).

Penn State National Open - Penn State [men | women]

• Tom Carey of St. Francis claimed the weight throw with his mark of 66-00.50p.
• Will Thomas of Connecticut won the heptathlon while scoring 5574a points.
• Dave Hinton of Mount St. Mary's placed second with his score of 5504a.
• De'Haisha Trotter of Tennessee won the women's 200 meters in 23.19a.
• Consuella Moore of Penn State clocked 23.43a in the same race.
• David Oliver of Howard ran 7.73p in the 60m hurdles to set a personal best.
• Tennessee and Pittsburgh both ran 3:38.34p in the 4x400 meter relay.
• Tennessee women won the DMR with their school-record time of 11:03.42a.
• Sara Dougherty of Penn State won the pole vault clearing 13-05.25p.

Northern Arizona triangular - Northern Arizona [results]

• Jason Barton of Arizona State ran the fastest 400 meters in the country winning in 45.80a.
• Lewis Banda of Arizona State finished second in 45.82a.

Boston Indoor Games - Reggie Lewis Center, Boston [results]

• Nick Willis of Michigan broke the indoor collegiate record in the 3,000 meters running 7:44.90a.
• Alice Schmidt of North Carolina clocked 2:06.61p in the 800 meters.

J.D. Martin Invitational - Oklahoma [results]

• DaBryan Blanton of Oklahoma won the 60-meter dash in 6.68p.
• Erin Anderson of Arkansas won the pole vault while clearing 13-01.50p.

Cougar Invitational - Washington State [results]

• Teak Wilburn of California won the high jump while clearing 7-02.50p.

Montana State Invitational - Montana State [results]

• Jim Steacy of Lethbridge (Canada) had a huge throw in the weight tossing it 71-10.
• Jen Allen of Montana State won the weight throw with her toss of 60-08.50p.

Bodybuilding.com Invitational - Boise State [results]

• Tommy Skipper of Oregon cleared 18-00.50a in the pole vault.
• Abbey Elseberry of Boise State won the weight throw with her toss of 63-11.75p.

Ohio State Invitational - Ohio State [results]

• Keturah Lofton of Ohio State won the weight throw with a mark of 65-01.25a.
• Amarachi Ukabam of Ohio State placed second in the same event at 65-00.75a.
• Dan Taylor of Ohio state claimed the shot put with his mark of 65-10.50a.
• Taylor also won the weight throw tossing it 76-00a.

Clemson Multi's - Clemson [results]

• Maurice Smith of Auburn won the heptathlon with his score of 5,725a.
• Rick Hill of Clemson came in second with his overall score of 5,431p.

Rod McCravy Invitational - Kentucky [results]

• Ray Scotten of Soutern Illinois was the first collegian in the pole vault at 17-07.75p.
• Brandon Atkinson of Ole Miss leaped to 52-04.75p in the triple jump.
• Jeff Chakouian of Kentucky won the shot put with his toss of 63-02.75p.
• Antwon Hicks won the 60 meter hurdles in a very fast 7.66a.
• Tiffany McWilliams of Mississippi State won the mile run in 4:43.01p.

UNC Invitational - North Carolina [results]

• Chelsea Hammond of South Carolina won the pentathlon with her score of 3898p.
• McGaffagan Alexis of South Florida placed second compiling 3893p.

Gator Invitational - Florida [results]

• LaQuanda Cotten of Florida won the weight throw tossing it 69-06.25a.
• Jukina Dickerson of Florida placed second in 68-11.75a.
• Jenny Dahlgren of Georiga placed third in 68-04.50a.
• Rachel Longfors of Florida placed fourth in 65-10.25a.
• Karen Freberg of Florida placed sixth in 64-11.50a.
• John Newell of Georgia won the weight throw with his mark of 66-01p.
• Kim Barrett of Florida set the fieldhouse record in the shot put at 56-5.75a.
• Candice Scott of Florida registered a mark of 53-08.25p in the shot put.
• Karen Freberg also set a provisional mark of 53-06.25p in the shot put.
• Hyleas Fountain of Georgia claimed the long jump in 21-01.25a.
• Chaunte Howard of Georgia Tech won the high jump clearing 6-02a.
• Mike Morrison of Florida was the first collegian in the high jump clearing 7-02.50p.
• Lashinda Demus of South Carolina won the 400 meters in 52.94a.
• Charlette Greggs of Miami was second in 53.95p.
• Shevon Stoddart of South Carolina was third in 54.21p.
• Ginou Etienne of Miami was fourth in 54.53p.
• The Florida men rocked to a 3:07.87a win in the 4x400 meter relay.
• The South Carolina women took care of the 4x400 as well in 3:34.35a.
• Lauryn Williams of Miami won the 55 meter dash in 6.70.

Doug Raymond Invitational - Kent State [results]

• Mike Inge of Kent State won the 800 meters with his nation leading 1:47.93a.

Northern Iowa Invitational - Northern Iowa [results]

• Donovan Kilmartin of Texas compiled 5,856a points in the heptathlon to win the event.
• Andra Manson of Texas tied for first in the high jump with his clearance of 7-4.50a.
• Kyle Lancaster of Kansas State also cleared 7-4.50a.
• Amanda Riffel of Kansas State won the weight throw with a personal best of 61-04p.
