Monday – Ok… so first things first… GOD IS GOOD… no no… GOD IS GREAT! So I was super nervous today about doin the track workout, cuz like I said it basically would determine whether I raced this weekend of not. So I was runnin the workout… foot felt fine… started runnin the track workout… NO pain! It was crazy! Like I just went away. I did the whole workout in my trainin shoes (no spikes or flats just to be cautious) and we wanted to be cautious, so my times were a little slower. And it was a tad breezy so my breathing got a little messed up. But all in all I was so happy. So yeah we were tryin to rush the workout to avoid the super wind that was supposed to hit today, and literally right after coach said “ok, we’re done” whoooooosh the wind came all up. We literally were having 60+ mph wind today. It was sooo nasty. I had lots of chores to run today so I was on the move a lot haha. And the bike workout tonight was a killer. But I’m just happy and excited about this weekend! YAY

3x1200 (4:22, 4:18. 4:12), 2x400 (at 1500 pace) (71, 69)- 7.5 miles

(bike) 4x5min hard, 2min rec, (4 min rec between rest of sets), 5 sets of 5x30sec hard, 30sec rec – 11miles

Mileage: 18.5 miles

Tuesday – What a day, what a day! So I was so rudely awaken this morning at 8am because the earth was shakin my apartment around. So when it finally stopped my roomy and I came out the room like “really? Really? Ugh”. So I walked to the blinds to let the beautiful morning sunshine in… and WHY WAS IS SNOWING? I just said “uhn uhn” closed the blinds and crawled back in bed. We had 5… count them 5 earthquakes today! It was crazyness. My ankle was kind of irritated today so I went on the bike again today. The rest of my day was spent doing errands around the house and then having a cookie baking fest with my roomy. Nice relaxing day (minus the shake shake shakin) J

Mileage: 6 miles

Wednesday – So I’m pretty much becoming the most unproductive person ever hahaha. I ran and biked today… packed for Mt. Sac… and struggled to write a 3 page paper. Didn’t stuggle because it was hard, but because I’m an uber procrastinator and have almost no motivation to write papers haha. I got it done though and am going to just chill til I fly out tomorrow. Still not sure where I’m sleepin tomorrow when I get to Sac… But I’m rentin a car so if all else fails… you can find me there hahaha… oh gosh…

Mileage: 8 miles

Usually on these track workouts, we get about 250m jog recovery on the longer sets, and about 800m jog recovery on the speed stuff. Always jogging though haha
