Cucumber Slices in Water???
My blog has nothing to do with cucumbers. I just didn't know what to title it. So what is there to say? Well not much has been happening here at Adams. Except this weekend is "Whiteout Weekend" It's the only weekend where all five winter sport sqauds will be competing with our rivals Western State. Except wrestling...there going to dual Central Oklahoma instead of Western. It's still cool because Central Ok is #3 and Adams is #5 in the nation. So I guess all the students are suppose to dress in white for the sporting events. Thus the whiteout theme. There should be a good sized crowd at each. Except i'm kind of in doubt about our track meet on friday. Even though everyone in town knows we sponsor a good track team, i bet they all think it's boring. The meet is set up in a really cool way. The best two athletes from each school go head to head in each event. Except the field events. Only one competitor for them. After each event is done, the fans are suppose to move on to the next event. So only one event will be held at a time. There is going to be a LJ, TJ, SP, WT, 60m, 60mH, 300m, 500m, 1K, i think a mile?, maybe pole vault?, and a 4x306. Yeah a 4x306. Our track is roughly 150m, so two laps is around 300m. So they designed the relay that way to get the spectators more into it. Plus if we ran a real 4x4 they would have to keep turning to different spots to see the exchange zones. So this just makes it easier for the fans.
Did I mention that it is going to be at night? It is going to be cold... Really cold. School still sucks. I'm way tired from school. oh well. Track is there. What can I say?
Monday we did speed stuff. Lifted lower
Tuesday I ran 3x500's. Lifted upper
Today ran 20min.
Tomorrow..?
Friday - Green and Red Shootout!

Very interesting reading! Good luck at the rivalry meet!! Sounds like a fantastic set-up... extremely creative! :) I hope the size of the crowd surprises you in a positive way!
