E-8 Women Rankings - Week 1
Week 1 rankings of the top 8 in each event for Division I women. Hopefully you'll see a big improvement over the pre-season rankings, due in large part to the responses and comments you gave us. Please keep the comments coming! Let us know what you think. There may still be a couple people we're still trying to confirm on redshirts so there still may be a few kinks.

Yes, McDonald is on her LDS mission (confirmed on the BYU website).
Also, I got a tip that steepler Kassi Anderson has turned pro; I'm awaiting confirmation, but she is indeed not listed on the current BYU roster.

Its insanity to believe that LSU's Nickiesha Wilson is not the favorite in this event. Wilson finished 4th in the Osaka World Championships by running a blistering 53.90. She easily dismantled the top 400 Hurdlers the U.S. has to offer and that was in the professional ranks!
Wilson is a freak, a phenom in this event, one of the fastest in track and field history in the 400H for her age. To bet against her is betting to lose!!
