Yvette Lewis signed with an agent last year and is no longer jumping at Hampton. You may want to remove her from your list.

How are you forgetting Blessing Ogabere of UTEP for long jump. She got 2nd at indoor NCs with a 21+ foot jump.

Thanks for pointing out all those flaws. We've made some changes to it. As the weeks go on it should continue to get better so keep pointing that stuff out and posting your opinions. And if there are people out there that would actually like to help contribute every week let us know. Obviously from this first ranking we could still use some more people to contribute.

I definitely feel like Lisa Koll, the young lady from Iowa State who finished 2nd indoors in the 5000, should be ranked somewhere in your top 8.

Brysun Stately, pole vaulter transferred to USC from Nebraska, which I believe would make her ineligible for this outdoor season-am I correct?

You still have Yvette Lewis of Hampton ranked in the 100 hurdles and she turned pro as well.. i also agree on Blessing Okagbare, she jumped 21-10 plus, twice during the indoor season and finished 2nd at indoor nationals.

Elizabeth Ambrus from UAB will be top 5 in the 10k...she ran 34:07 with a 16:58(5k) indoor PR...She was a 5k All-American this year at 16:18...her 10k will be a monster.

I agree with the previous post...Ambrus will definetly be in the top 8 in the 10k...as a senior, she may even pull the 5k..10k double. Her performance at Arkansas was pretty amazing.

Brysun Stately did transfer to USC but I dont know if she's competing because it's the second time she's transferred so she may have to sit out a year, unless she found a loop hole in the NCAA. Mary Saxer has been struggling at Notre Dame and hasn't been in the top 20 since. And to my knowledge, Moser is redshirting the entire year!

You are correct, I confirmed today that she will not be competing for Georgia this year.

Thanks to all for posting information about transfers, redshirts, and others. I anticipate Week 1 will see a vast improvement.

Brandi Cross- South Carolina surely should be pretty high up in the 400 m rankings; Yvette Lewis at Hampton has graduated, she\'s now Pro.

After Nickesha Anderson's performance at the indoor meet, I definitely see her being ranked soon in the 100 and 200.

Your women's ranking needs to changed Natalie Dixon is no longer at South Carolina St and Yvette Lewis is no longer at Hampton.

Natalie Moser did indeed redshirt the indoor season, but I am told she may still compete at some point during the outdoor season, so I'll leave her in the vault rankings for now.

Someone asked if they were coming out of injuries from 2007... the answer is no, they both red shirted their indoor seasons in order to train hard for the Olympic tryouts qith the hopes of making it to the team.
I know because I personally talked to andre at a meet about 6 weeks ago.
