NCAA Championships: Midwest Region Preview
Egor Agafonov (Kansas) won this meet a year ago and will look to do the same. The midwest region is also by far the weakest region on the men's side. This should give newcomers Dimitrious Fylladitakis (UTEP) and Hans Erikson (UTEP) a chance to shine. The remaining spots will be up for grabs. Kansas State throwers Loren Groves and Laci Heller should lead the women's competition. Ozioma Okolie (Texas Tech) has had a great season. Kate Burton (Wyoming) has also come on strong lately. The fifth spot could go to a number of throwers inclugin Nina Schvedoff (UTEP), Rachel Jansen (Northern Iowa), or Zlata Tarasova (Kansas).
