NCAA Women's Hammer Rankings Vol. 5
Although she's had the best mark all season, Eva Orban (USC) convincing win over Brittany Riley (Southern Illinois) was enough to propel her into the first position. Orban threw 69 meters yet again and showed how consistent and dominate she has been this season.

Ayala not only won the collegiate section of Mt SAC at a pr 61.98m, she was invited back to the invitational section two hours later where she threw a near pr 61.85m and beat some impressive collegiate and post collegiate throwers. An nice weekend for someone who has improved twenty feet so far this year. There should be some good things in store for her in the future. Nice improvement for her teammate Brian Vasquez at 63.29m too!

If Sharon keeps throwing the way she has been, she'll be way up the rankings by the season's end. I was at the meet and saw her compete. It's just a competitive year and there is a slew of throwers between 60 and 63 meters.
