Results for the Weekend of 4/19/08

20 April 2008 at 21:16 - 1 comments - link
After a long weekend, I've finally been able to compile all the results from across the country.  Eva Orban (USC) utterly dominated Brittany Riley (Southern Illinois) at the Mt. SAC relays on Sunday afternoon.  Orban was the top collegiate thrower and placed third overall.  Riley, however, had foul trouble and only managed 58.11m (190-08).

Walter Henning (North Carolina) had the best men's mark of the weekend leading the ACC Championships from start to finish over Matej Muza (Virginia Tech).  However, another freshman emerged as perhaps the most impressive so far this season.  Jordan Stray (Oregon) took second place at the Oregon vs. UCLA dual meet with a new personal best of 65.75m (215-08).
