Where should I begin.....

Lets start with the absolute craziness thats been going on in the world of Professional track and field shall we.

Usain Bolt: Ok so this young man has been a monster of a athlete from a very young age. At 15 or 16 he becomes the youngest sprinter to ever win a world junior title at the 200m distance. Then a year or two later, he re-writes history and genetics by becoming the first Junior Sprinter to crack the 20 second barrier. 2004 and 2005, he had some rough moments, but was able to bounce back in 2006 and 2007 with a new national record in the 200m with a time 19.75....was anyone really surprised by his record run in the 200m? Nope!!!

NOW WE ARE IN 2008!!! Is it really a surprise that a man that can run 19.75 can run 10.03 in the 100m? No not really, because his coach trained him right and made sure that every aspect of sprinting was placed into his training. BUT after only running 5 100m dashes in his entire life, this thing known as "The Lightning Bolt" goes out and runs the 1st and 3rd fastest time in the history of mankind!!! WHAT ON EARTH??? I'm not gonna lie, that was damn good run by Bolt, I mean, he has already achieved something that the past great ones could not accomplish. He stepped into a pretty great field with the defending world champion Tyson Gay (whats good my dude) right next to him and left his mark on the sport of track and field. Now lets see if he can duplicate this amazing feat at the Games....my money is on Tyson and  Coach Brauman.

Justin Gatlin: Oh Justin, Justin, Justin. I remember watching you at the 2001 NCAA meet and watched you light the track on fire. I knew you was a star in the making. I remember when you won your first major pro title, it was the indoor 60m world title....I remember the ups and downs of that season, but you still manage to run under 10 second that year.....I remember your shining moment in 2004 in Athens, hell I still watch that race to this very day like it was the first time I've ever seen it. You proved that you was the ultimate championship performer, you beat out the (depending on who you ask) the greatest 100m sprinter of all time....2005, in my eyes, your greatest run was your 200m world championship run. Wallace Spearmon, Tyson Gay, John Capel, and Usain Bolt..these men in this race should have blown your butt out of the water, three of them have been dropping 19 point like animals in the zoo take dumps, and you took your game to another level and won the 200m on top of winning the 100m earlier in that week, becoming the second man to ever do the 100m/200m double at the world championships. Then the year you wish you could of skipped  over came around and your life as you know it was turned upside down. You knew you wasn't supposed to run at the U.S. championships but you ran away..why? Why or how did you allow this to happen to yourself??? You are the same kid I saw at the SEC meet damn near win the team title all by yourself..You won 4 outta 5 events you was in, hell you damn near won the hurdles...why? Why Trevor Graham as your coach...why? Why would the man that was dubbed the Next Great One as a sophmore in college do something to destroy that career...why??? Honestly, I wanted to see Gatlin back after two years, but you know what? The IAAF put that great career that many of us enjoyed watching on ice for another 2 years. Let this be a lession to those that wanna take the easy way to fame and remember this saying...."Men lie, women lie, but the piss test don't!!"

I'm off, gotta watch this Great Southwest meet in morning..oh yeah, the Retro Jordan 6 is coming out tomorrow, so those that know me know one way or the other, they will be on my feet..LOL!!!! I'll holla!!!!
