It's been a while since the last entry.
Track practice is officially killing me now. We've been doing a good deal of
plyo stuff and squats so far. My maxes have gone up some from last year:
We started our hill workouts today. From previous
experience, this is going to be the worst part of the year training wise. We
start with some uphills, which is just sprinting to the top of a hill,
sprinting back down, and then doing some crunches and push ups. Each week we
increase the amount of uphills. Today wasn't too bad, but it'll get worse soon
enough.
After the uphills we do loops of varying distances (800,
600, 400, and 200) through the woods pretty much, we always finish up a hill.
By the end of the workout I'm pretty dead. It's really dusty and my allergies
act up. Im NOT looking forward to waking up sore tomorrow, but thats how it
goes
