On YoUr MaRks....GeT Set....Goooo!!!
This past week Sept 5-8 was our Freshman week, Coach spends time with all the freshies :) and teaches them lifts, techniques, warmups, team rules/sayings etc....
This yr he added a little twist and had the upper classmen come in and touch base on a couple of topics: quitting, consistency, grades, pledging, relationships and taking advantage of opportunites.
I was asked to talk about consistency and I found it so ironic, because I felt the postitive effects of consistency and the negative effects of consistency all in one yr. This yr I will definetly be working towards being consistent everyday especially when I'm tired...
I should prob go run some miles to get ready for the "welcome back 800m time trial" on Monday.... Ill let you know how that goes!
